Comms were used quite effectively for squad coordination and tactics at Day+2, also for relaying enemy positions to HQ and calling in Arty strikes on enemy positions...it was awesome.

Looks good Jim. :good: Just need some insignia on the M43 cap, and you'll be done. Yes, it can get warm in wools in the summer - I'd suggest just wearing the jacket with no tunic underneath. :)

... *Edit* slighty off topic but do any german ammo pouches fit ak47 mags? ...

AK74 may well fit in MP44 pouches but the 47 mags are (obviously) more curved - could maybe try the 'Pioneer Assault Pouches' ??

..i never seem to wear my helmet anymore i got some new glasses an fog up when i have a helmet

Have a word (or pm) with Taffyjohn, he sells some really good mesh goggles. They fit close to the face and allow you to wear helmets or a toque without any fear of steaming up. Well worth the investment.

Well it's about time to put some kit pics up of me and Lipton

Somewhere in N.Africa (Not Yorkshire  ) No2 Commando and 2nd Armoured meet up...

...and smile for the camera

Wondering what I'm meant to do with this thing

Advancing in the atmospheric shadows of dusk.

And reversing into the atmospheric shadows of dusk.

Another one of those Para type chaps

Colour, or in this case color. For those who care for such things.

More colour, and backed up by a strange face.

Enjoy, or laugh at. Not really fair of me to dictate which.
